Job Description

The role...

Located within our Holiday Park is The Shack – a café which provides hot and cold drinks, hot and cold fresh food, lollies, chips, ice creams etc. and a small range of retail supplies to in-house guests. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure an excellent guest experience is provided by The Shack Customer Experience Team.

This is a hands on role where you will participate in the day-to-day operations of The Shack including:

  •  serving guests and preparing drinks and food,
  •  assisting with the ordering, receipting, storing, waste control and stocktake of food, beverage and retail products,
  •  training, coaching and motivating The Shack Customer Experience Team,
  •  ensuring rosters meet operational requirements,
  •  assisting in the resolution of customer issues, complaints and problems, and
  •  ensuring that policies and procedures are being adhered to, therefore making certain the guest experience is delivered to required standards and food safety, hygiene and stock management compliance.

You are...

Passionate about providing an outstanding customer experience, inspiring a great team and providing a positive fun work environment. The successful candidate will have:

  •  The availability to work weekends and evenings across all 7 days,
  •  Customer service experience within a café or hospitality environment,
  •  A proven ability to lead, train, motivate and manage a team,
  •  Strong working knowledge or WHS and food safety and hygiene,
  •  Ability to use computers and point of sale systems, and
  •  High levels of personal presentation, organisation and communication skills.
