The role…
As Golf Pro Shop Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the Pro Shop and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across all customer touchpoints.
You will balance team leadership, retail management, and operational delivery while maintaining strong standards across the business.
This is a key leadership role within The Pat GC. You will take ownership of the Pro Shop experience, leading the team, driving retail performance, and shaping how customers engage with the facility day to day.
It is a hands on role with real influence across operations, team culture, and customer experience.
Hours and shifts are varied over a 7-day roster based on the operational requirements of the Golf Pro Shop. Weekend and public holiday work is essential with this position.
Key responsibilities…
- Lead, roster, and develop the Pro Shop team
- Deliver a high-quality customer experience across bookings, retail, and enquiries
- Manage retail operations including stock control, merchandising, and presentation
- Oversee daily financials including cash handling, reporting, and budget tracking
- Coordinate bookings, events, and group experiences to maximise engagement and revenue
- Ensure compliance with WHS, RSA, and operational standards
- Work collaboratively with the broader West Beach Parks team to drive continuous improvement

About you…

You combine strong commercial awareness with a hands on approach and have the ability to build a positive, high performing team culture.
What you will bring
- Experience in golf, retail, or hospitality management
- Strong financial and operational understanding
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team
- Sound understanding of compliance and safety standards
- Current driver’s licence, RSA, and National Police Clearance
- A passion for golf is highly regarded but not essential.
