The role...
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you will be a key member of our Operational Management team. This role provides leadership to our large Housekeeping Department of 80 Housekeepers with support of the Housekeeping Team Leader and 6 Senior Housekeepers. Our Housekeeping Manager has overarching responsibility for ensuring the cleaning of accommodation facilities and commercial amenities across West Beach Parks are to an agreed standard to support the provision of memorable guest and visitor experiences.
Your duties will include:
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies aimed at productivity maximisation and cost minimisation without reduction of quality standards across accommodation facilities,
- Reward and recognition, performance development and performance management of team members,
- Overseeing recruitment and training of team members,
- Overseeing rostering and productivity of team members,
- Wage budget management according to occupancy levels,
- Setting cleaning programs and schedules,
- Setting cleaning standards and designing and maintaining quality control and continuous improvement systems, and
- Ensuring that materials and equipment par levels are maintained within approval limits and budget.
