The role...
We are currently recruiting for 1 Part Time Senior Customer Experience Officer at the Golf Pro Shop. Part Time positions are offered at a minimum of 25 hours per fortnight. Reporting to the Golf Pro Shop Manager you will provide supervision to the Golf Pro Shop Customer Experience Team to instil purpose, pride, and commitment within the Team, and ensure behaviours from self and the Team reflect our non-negotiable actions.  This in turn guarantees the West Beach Parks Customer Experience Promise is delivered to our golfing community.
Duties will also include:

  • Handling player needs and special requests during their visit and ensuring the player achieves maximum satisfaction.
  • Resolving issues and complaints in a pleasant and calm manner.
  • Assisting in training employees to ensure system compliance.
  • Supervising daily operations of the retail shop.
  • Ensuring all tasks are implemented in accordance with procedures, policies and work health and safety requirements.

Working in this role requires you to work weekends and public holidays as well as early morning and evening shifts on a rotating roster.

You are….
The successful candidate will be a positive, well-presented and enthusiastic person who loves interacting with customers and the team.  Ideally you have experience in the supervision of staff, particularly in a face-to-face customer service role as well as an understanding of and passion for the game of golf, as well as:

  • Ability to communicate with staff and guests of all backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated organisational and communication skills.
  • Effective time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, volume and deadlines.
  • Solutions focus with sound problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, at a fast pace, while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to interact positively with others.
  • Willingness to share knowledge and commitment to developing and helping others.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
