Job Description

The Role...
Our Maintenance Team Members are responsible for the upkeep of our tourist accommodation, sporting, leisure and recreation-built facilities, as well as public areas.  Key components of the role are to identify, evaluate and correct day-to-day issues in a timely and efficient manner.

With the use of your general-building maintenance knowledge and previous experience in a similar role you are required to liaise with staff, guests and external contractors with the highest levels of professionalism. Your day-to-day duties may include:

  • Plastering and painting
  • Repair of fixtures and fittings
  • Basic plumbing
  • Maintaining and fixing appliances 
  • General maintenance.

This full-time position of 38 hours per week will require you to work a variety of shifts over a 7-day roster, including public holidays and evening shifts, to meet operational requirements. 

You Are...
You are a positive, solutions-focused individual who enjoys producing top quality work.  Drawing on your previous experience in a similar role within the building/hospitality/hotel sector you will have:

  • a trade qualification/s,
  • a strong work ethic and the ability to prioritize workloads efficiently,
  • the flexibility to deal with changing priorities,
  • a commitment to WHS standards and quality customer service,
  • strong attention to detail and sense of pride in your work,
  • the ability to work unsupervised, and
  • excellent grooming and presentation at all times.
