Reporting directly to the General Manager – Sales and Marketing, you’ll dive straight into hands-on marketing projects that build brand buzz, drive accommodation bookings, and create unforgettable connections with our guests.
From crafting eye-catching social media content and energising our digital presence to supporting dynamic brand promotions, you’ll experience the full spectrum of marketing in a fast-paced, fun, and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

Step into a hands-on marketing role where no two days are the same! You'll work across a variety of exciting projects that help shape the voice, visibility, and customer experience at West Beach Parks:

  • Lead our social media presence — from concept to content — creating vibrant, on-brand posts that spark engagement and tell our story across all key platforms.
  • Keep our website fresh and conversion-focused, developing user-friendly, SEO-savvy content that drives direct bookings and brings our brand to life online.
  • Own our visibility on booking platforms, ensuring we shine across all online travel agencies and distribution channels.
  • Bring campaigns to life by crafting eye-catching EDMs in collaboration with the General Manager – Sales and Marketing, helping to drive reach and results.
  • Be our digital concierge by responding quickly and thoughtfully to guest reviews across online platforms — turning feedback into opportunity.
  • Create engaging regular newsletters that inform, inspire, and connect with our guests and community.
  • Support the team’s momentum by assisting with tasks that help everything run smoothly behind the scenes.

The role is offered as a part-time position of 22.8 hours per week (FTE 0.6).  The South Australian public sector promotes diversity and flexible ways of working. You are encouraged to discuss the flexible days and hours of work for this role.

You are...
A creative, vibrant and proactive marketing professional with a drive to succeed who:

  • Lives and breathes social media, with hands-on experience across major platforms and a flair for creating compelling, scroll-stopping content,
  • Communicates with clarity, creativity, and professionalism — both in writing and in person,
  • Has a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work, every time,
  • Capably juggles multiple deadlines and projects with ease, thanks to top-tier organisation and time management skills,
  • Is proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and digital marketing tools (e.g. Google Analytics, MailChimp, Hootsuite etc.),
  • Has a passion for tourism, sport and/or leisure industries, and
  • Has a current Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle.
